Lunch Clubs (for currently enrolled JCC Preschoolers only)

Lunch Clubs are available for: 

• Children bring their own bag lunches and drinks from home
• If your child has any FOOD ALLERGIES - Please mark this clearly in the comment section of registration form AND on your child's lunch box. Remember... the JCC is a "Nut Free" school.
• JCC Pre-School staff will accompany children from morning pre-school classes to their Lunch Club rooms, and parents should pick up children from the Lunch Club rooms. 
• Space is limited in each class. Participation in over-subscribed Lunch Clubs will be determined by first come/first serve basis. Please make sure your child is comfortable with all children, since (s)he may or may not be placed with friends.
• Please list your Lunch Club selections in order of preference on the registration form.
• Please do not register for a Lunch Club on days that you are currently scheduled for Enrichment.

Activity Classes (open to any age-appropriate children)

Activity classes are available for:

Three and Four Year Olds:  Monday - Friday from 12:45 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. ages 3-5 (open to ALL children)
Children in JCC Threes and Fours classes with Enrichment: Monday – Friday 1:45 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. (minimum enrollment needed)
Children in JCC Three to Be classes: TO BE ANNOUNCED

• Space is limited in each class. Participation in over-subscribed Activity Classes will be determined by first come/first serve basis. 
• Please list your Activity Class selections in order of preference on the registration form.

Mondays (16 sessions)
January 9 – May 14, (NO classes on 1/16, 2/20, 4/9)

Lunch Clubs: $256

• Healthy Patch (Faith/Kathy – Room 8)– Let’s explore the vegetable patch & fruits too!  Each week we will discover a new fruit or vegetable and we will snack with them!
• Lunch n' Play (Linda/Jackie – Room 10) - School's out and the fun is in. Play indoor and outdoor games, including riding bikes, flapping our parachute, completing obstacle courses, swinging the hula hoop and more.
• A Skip, Hop & a Jump (Kristin/Dani – Room 1)- Skip like a ram. Hop like a frog. Jump like a kangaroo. What other animals or characters can you act out when you play in the gym or outside?

Activity Classes:

• Soccer for Preschoolers - Member Discount: $460 / Fee: $520 / Enrichment: $340
  Get the ball rolling! Dynamic international coaches work with every student to develop skills, self-confidence, and teamwork in a fun, non-competitive environment. Positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio ensure that each child will improve his/her soccer skills through engaging warm-ups, drills, and games - all while having endless fun!

• Tumbling Tots - Member Discount: $480 / Fee: $560 / Enrichment: $390 (minimum of 8 children required)
  Is your preschooler always on the move? In this class filled with giggles and laughter, your child will develop self-confidence while experiencing the joys of gymnastics. Our extensively trained, USA Gymnastics Safety Certified instructors enable every child to succeed while having fun, improving fitness and learning new skills. This action-packed class will keep them flipping head over heels!

Tuesdays (17 sessions)
January 10 – May 15 (NO class on 2/21, 4/10)

Lunch Clubs: $272

• Bugs Galore (Laura/Carolyn-Room 1) – Bugs, bugs and more bugs!  Children will learn about the wonderful world of bugs ….do they crawl or fly?  Using varied experiences, children will learn about the insects around us.
• Movin’ & Groovin’(Corletha/Diana/Fern – Room 7) – You won’t have to sit still in this lunch club! Move around as much as you please in the gym or the playground. NO sitting allowed!
• Storybook Adventures(Kristin/Dani – Room 2) – See how far your imaginations can take you! We’ll read stories and expand them creatively.
• Curious George(Linda/Jackie – Room 10)– How to turn a bad situation into good!  We will explore Curious George and the situations he gets into and out of!
• Lunch n’ Play(Faith/Kathy – Room 8) – School’s out and fun is in. Play indoor and outdoor games, including riding bikes, playing in the playground or our indoor gym.

Activity Classes:

• Computer Adventures - Member Discount: $315 / Fee: $365 / Enrichment: $255
  Learn the basics of computers by going on digital adventures in the world of Imagine Tomorrow. You will solve missions each week using a wireless laptop. The software adapts to each child’s academic and technical abilities and parents receive a password to login and access tips and activities for reinforcement at home.

• Tee Ball and Basketball - Member Discount: $425 / Fee: $510 / Enrichment: $365
  Children will participate in fun drills that help teach the fundamentals on how to play tee ball and basketball. The emphasis of this non-competitive program is on having FUN (but children will also improve their confidence, independence, focus and motor skills, too)!

• JCC Kids’ Club – Member Discount: $695 / Fee: $815 (maximum of 6 children)
  Social skills class for 3 & 4 year olds promotes conversational language & socialization. The focus will be on refining pragmatics and peer interactions such as turn-taking, dealing with winning and losing, empathy respecting feelings of others and self-regulation. Children will engage in an active play-based environment.

Wednesdays (17 sessions)
January 11 – May 16 (NO classes on 2/22, 3/11)

Lunch Clubs: $272

• Junior Cheerleading(Laura/Carolyn – Room 1) - for 4's - Give me a "P" for Pom Pom! Give me an "E" for Enthusiasm! Learn a variety of moves and cheers that you can use to support family members or your favorite sport teams.
• Dr. Seuss World (Coreltha/Diana – Room 4)– Who hears a WHO?  We will read Dr. Seuss and have fun with story boards, rhymes and more!
• Old Fashioned Games (Faith/Kathy – Room 8) – Have fun playing old favorites such as Red Light-Green Light, Hot Potato, Mother May I? and so much more!
• Marching to the Music (Kristin/Dani/Fern-Room 2) – You won’t have to sit still in this club! Children will have fun with tambourines, maracas and more while moving to the music and form a marching band.
• Board Games & More (Linda/Jackie-Room 10) –Lot’s of fun with board games, dominoes, matching and puzzles.

  This fun-filled class uses theatre games, piano music, imaginary play, props and creative movement to encourage a love for performance, musical arts and theatre. By acting out a different story each week, children will develop a knack for staging, presentation and the joy of playing different roles!

Thursdays (16 sessions)
January 12 – May 17 (NO classes on 2/23, 3/15, 4/12)

Lunch Clubs: $256

• Gym Challenge(Linda/Jackie/Kristin – Room 10) - Running, jumping and plain old fun... this is the class for your child. Old-fashioned and new-fashioned games will be played.
• Story Stretchers (Faith/Kathy – Room 8) – Let’s see how far our imaginations can take us! We’ll read stories and expand them through drama and movement!

Activity Classes:

• Pre-Ballet - Member Discount $335 / Fee: $420 / Enrichment: $260
  Learn to move and dance with grace and style. Your child will move to the music, learn some dance steps and explore what the body can do, while practicing balance and coordination, and gaining muscle strength.

• Got to Get to the Gym! for 4's (Corletha/Diana – Room 4) - Utilizing a variety of balls and hoops, obstacle courses and games will be created.
• Do the ZOO! (Kristin/Dani – Room 2)- So many different kinds of animals at the ZOO!  Mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and so much more!
• Jewish Movement (Faith/Kathy – Room 8)– Shabbat & Jewish Holidays come alive through movement and songs! We’ll get into the spirit through games and music.
• Fabulous Fables & Tales (Luna/Fern/Fran – Room7) – The Tortoise and the Hare, The Lion and the Mouse…and more! We’ll read our favorite fables and more!
