Rosenthal JCC Refund Policy

No refunds will be given for membership fees, registration fees, deposits or program fees unless the JCC cancels the program due to lack of enrollment or unless the program is oversubscribed. The only exceptions are listed below. No refunds are made for classes canceled due to weather.

A $20 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

Exceptions

JCC Pre-School
In Pleasantville

• 50% of the required deposit per child is non-refundable; the remaining 50% of the required deposit may be refunded with written notice of cancellation until February 1 of the upcoming pre-school year. No refunds on the deposit balance will be given after February 1 of the upcoming Pre-School year.
• There will be NO refunds issued for any reason after the start of pre-school programs, including for missed days, illness, vacations, etc.
• The JCC reserves the right to remove a child from pre-school if it is determined that the program is not appropriate for your child. In such cases, a pro-rated refund will be made, less a $100 processing fee.
• If a child is declared in writing by a physician unable to attend pre-school, a refund will be made on a pro-rated basis.

In Yorktown

• 50% of the required deposit per child is non-refundable; the remaining 50% of the required deposit may be refunded with written notice of cancellation until March 1 of the upcoming pre-school year. No refunds on the deposit balance will be given after March 1 of the upcoming pre-school year.
• There will be NO refunds issued for any reason after the start of pre-school programs, including for missed days, illness, vacations, etc.
• The JCC reserves the right to remove a child from pre-school if it is determined that the program is not appropriate for your child. In such cases, a pro-rated refund will be made, less a $100 processing fee.

After-School Day Care
After School Program (Pleasantville)

• Registration is contracted on an annual basis, and refunds will be provided only in the following circumstances:
• Parental loss of employment - full refund of unused fees
• Move from service area - full refund of unused fees, less $25 processing fee
• Maternity leave of a parent - temporary suspension of fees
• Mutual agreement between parents and JCC staff that the ASP program is inappropriate for child - full refund of unused fees, less $25 processing fee
• All membership and registration fees are non-refundable.

All Bedford Care - ABC (Bedford)

• Registration is contracted on an annual basis and refunds will only be provided in the following circumstances:
• Parental loss of employment - full refund of unused fees
• Move from service area - full refund of unused fees, less $25 processing fee
• Maternity leave of a parent - temporary suspension of fees
• Mutual agreement between parents and JCC staff that the ABC program is inappropriate for child - full refund of unused fees, less $25 processing fee
• All membership and registration fees are non-refundable.

Summer Camp
JCC Camp Discovery

• $100 of the required deposit per child is non-refundable; the remaining balance of the required deposit may be refunded with written notice of cancellation until May 1 of the upcoming camping season. No refunds on the deposit balance will be given after May 1 of the upcoming camping season.
• There will be NO refunds issued for any reason after the start of camp, including for missed days, illness, vacations, etc.
• The JCC reserves the right to remove a child from camp. In such cases, a pro-rated refund will be made, less a $100 processing fee.

JCC Camp Bear Ridge

• 50% of the required deposit per child is non-refundable; the remaining 50% of the required deposit may be refunded with written notice of cancellation until February 1 of the upcoming camping season. No refunds on the deposit balance will be given after February 1 of the upcoming camping season.
