Rosenthal JCC Girls Soccer Team Brings Home a Silver Medal from JCC Maccabi Games

The Rosenthal JCC is proud to announce that its girls soccer team brought home a silver medal from the recent 2010 JCC Maccabi Games® in Baltimore. In the semi-final, the Rosenthal JCC girls turned a 2-to-zip game against the Baltimore A team completely on its head in the second half to win 3 to 2 in overtime! In the finals, the Rosenthal JCC girls lost an incredibly hard-fought game against Boca with a final score of 2 to 3, but clenched the silver medal.

The Northern Westchester community is donating teddy bears to first responders to be given to children in times of crisis. This project honors Stephanie Crispinelli, the college student and former JCC camp counselor whose life was tragically cut short during the earthquake while on a humanitarian mission in Haiti.

Pesach Matzah Factory to Take Place at the Rosenthal JCC Sunday, Mar. 21, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

The Rosenthal JCC of Northern Westchester today announced that families can learn how matzah is made, then plunge their hands into flour and water to make their own matzah at the Pesach Matzah Factory on Sunday, Mar. 21, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.  They will also enjoy Passover crafts and snacks in preparation for the holiday, and can watch a screening of Disney’s “The Prince of Egypt.”

Kisco Hebrew Congregation will explore ways to bring more peace and joy into a marriage, and discuss what the Torah says about the rights and responsibilities of a married couple. Rosenthal JCC Invites Jewish Teens to Tryout for the JCC Maccabi Games

We're looking for Jewish teen athletes (13 to 16 years on July 31) to participate in our BOYS SOCCER, GIRLS SOCCER, BOYS BASKETBALL, BOYS/GIRLS TENNIS or GIRLS LACROSSE TEAMS. Meet hundreds of other Jewish teens in athletic competition. Plus, enjoy social activities, community service and pride in being Jewish.
