The Northern Westchester community is donating teddy bears to first responders to be given to children in times of crisis. This project honors Stephanie Crispinelli, the college student and former JCC camp counselor whose life was tragically cut short during the earthquake while on a humanitarian mission in Haiti.
The Rosenthal JCC of Northern Westchester today announced that families can learn how matzah is made, then plunge their hands into flour and water to make their own matzah at the Pesach Matzah Factory on Sunday, Mar. 21, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. They will also enjoy Passover crafts and snacks in preparation for the holiday, and can watch a screening of Disney’s “The Prince of Egypt.”
