DO IT ALONE! Join The Mothers Circle to learn about Jewish rituals, traditions,
ethics and the how-to’s of creating a Jewish home. Meet and get to know other
women who share your experience. Childcare is available. A program of the
Jewish Outreach Institute.

The Essential Components of Optimal Health & Total Fitness

Forget the latest fad diet and exercise craze. In this
workshop, fitness expert Dr. Irwin Schwartz brings you his comprehensive, straightforward
and long-term strategies for incorporating the four key components of health
and fitness into your lifestyle. Based on his new book, this workshop is
perfect for beginners, trained athletes and everyone in between.
Dr. Schwartz, Ed.D., CSCS, is a health and fitness
professional with more than 35 years of experience, created the curriculum for
his popular Wellness and Physical Fitness course at Pace University. He is a certified
Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a professional member of the
American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Dr. Schwartz has expertise in the
physiology of muscular activity, the physiology of exercise, physiology and
anatomy, kinesiology, the efficiency of human movement, and sports medicine. He
has advised or personally trained people ranging in age from 14 to 89. FREE but

Yiddish Vinkle
Thursdays, beginning

Yiddish Speakers (or dabblers) unite! Enjoy Yiddish poetry,
current events, short stories, humor, songs, music and great camaraderie.
Yiddish fluency is not required. Supported by the Yiddish Vinkle Fund in memory
of Phyllis Robbins. $5/class (or $75/year) suggested donation
