JCC Maccabi ArtsFest is designed to inspire Jewish teens through a dynamic combination of workshop, performance, exhibition, competition, community service, social activities and fun. The week-long event helps them develop their individuality through the medium of artistic expression, while strengthening their bonds to their Jewish heritage, community, and Israel. Teens will enjoy home hospitality, social activities, and the opportunity to take part in Days of Caring and Sharing, a community service project, as well as developing their artistic gifts under the direction of world class artists-in-residence. A culminating gala performance will top off the week.
JCC Maccabi ArtsFest is modeled on the highly successful JCC Maccabi Games®, which have grown to accommodate nearly 6,000 teens from many different countries each summer. ArtsFest is designed to attract and connect thousands of Jewish teens with a strong interest in the arts.
Jewish teens from Northern Westchester, entering grades 8-12 (minimum age 13), interested in participating in ArtsFest should contact Lisa Roberts for more information at (914) 741-0333x24 or send an e-mail.
