Purim Palooza
Mar. 7, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
Make some noise with Bobby Doowah! Every child will get a drum to play as we sing Purim songs and more. Come in costume for a costume parade. Then, put down the instruments for a pizza dinner and crafts. We’ll make Purim masks and bean groggers! Event Chair: Lyndie Fasold. The Shabbat Experience: A Restful, Peaceful Shabbat Eve
Friday, Mar. 16, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
We all need a break sometimes, and luckily – Shabbat is restful. Let’s practice together as we celebrate with restful activities, including yoga for families, a sing-a-long sleepy song fest, and pillowcase making. Followed by a pot-luck Shabbat dinner. For families with children to 2nd grade. Event Chair: Liat Kimmel. Registration online is required. $20/family with a non-dairy side dish, appetizer or desser
Passover at the Farm
Apr. 1, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Passover is the holiday of spring and rebirth! Join us as Rainbeau Ridge comes to the JCC with chickens and eggs, an eggshell craft project, lettuce planting, animal cookie decorating and more fun activities in celebration of Passover. We’ll also learn about sustainable farming and other “green” practices. Enjoy a pre-Passover “chametz feast” of bagels and cream cheese, crackers and other “bready” foods. Chair: Amy Abramson. Tales & Treats: Jewish Bedtime Stories from The PJ Library®
Wednesdays, Feb. 8 and Apr. 18, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
Once Upon a Time there was a Jewish story… Actually, there are a LOT of Jewish stories. Bring your kids in PJs and join us for pizza dinner, free play in our gym and then a selection of a few of the best Jewish tall tales. Followed, of course, by milk and cookies. For children 2 to 5 years with their families. RSVP is required. $18/family / JCC OR PJ Library member discount: $10/family

It’s a story – but bigger. Enlarged books will come alive as we walk from page to page in a moving storytelling fairytale. Then enjoy book-related arts and crafts projects. FREE!
