The Rosenthal JCC of Northern Westchester today announced that it has hired Ann Pardes as its new Director of Early Childhood in its Main Branch in Pleasantville. Pardes will assume leadership over the programs in June following the retirement of founding Director Marjorie Kobrin, who has grown the JCC’s programs from scratch to more than 350 children over the past 33 years.
The Rosenthal JCC of Northern Westchester today announced that it will be enhancing and expanding its programs and services for people with special needs and their families in order to address new and emerging needs across the lifecycle and throughout the Northern Westchester community. The RJCC also announced that it has hired Robin Gersten, an experienced special needs professional, to lead the charge in expanding programs and services.

County Executive Rob Astorino welcomed Mayor Gil Livne of sister city Shoham, Israel, at an intimate gathering last night. Astorino presented Mayor Livne with a gift on behalf of the residents of Westchester – a set of Westchester county seal-emblazoned tumblers. The Rosenthal JCC presented Astorino with a gift, too – a Passover Haggadah.
