Interested in being a counselor, lifeguard or a specialist?

Camp Discovery provides quality summer camp for the communities of Northern Westchester.  Summers were made for fun and adventure. Your children's creativity will flow through crafts, music, dance, & drama.  They'll enjoy team sports on the fields and learn to swim like an Olympian from our American Red Cross Certified Lifeguards.  Camp Discovery offers something that every child will love.

Door-to-Door Transportation
Camp Discovery provides free door-to-door transportation for families who live North of I-287. Alternatively, transportation is provided daily to and from the Rosenthal JCC's main campus in Pleasantville (before & after care) - just a 25 minute drive.

Flexible Scheduling
For your convenience, we offer a full eight-week session if you choose.  You can choose any weeks at your discretion, with a minimum of 2 weeks.    Camp hours are 9:00am through 4:00pm. 

Before & After Care
Before-Care and After-Care is available at Camp Discovery in Croton-on-Hudson OR at the Rosenthal JCC in Pleasantville.  Beginning at 7:30am, children enjoy organized games and supervised play before camp begins and after camp is over until 6:00pm.  Children will be transported from the JCC in Pleasantville to & from Camp; families are responsible for transportation to and from before & after care.  

Supervised, Small-Group Environment
We limit group enrollment to ensure that each child will benefit from our well-supervised, nurturing environment. Each child is encouraged to learn and grow at his/her own pace with support from caring, mature staff. Specialists enhance our waterfront, arts & crafts, music, theater, dance and sports programs. Scenic Camp Grounds 
Located on 19.2 acres of scenic woodland in Croton-on-Hudson, Camp Discovery offers a fully equipped country setting.

Membership to the Rosenthal JCC
Children enrolled at Camp Discovery benefit from an individual membership to the Rosenthal JCC throughout the following school year. Children have the opportunity to participate at reduced fees in a wide range of other activities at our main campus in Pleasantville and at our Yorktown branch.
