Summer Camp for All Ages

The Rosenthal JCC offers camps for children of all ages:

Camp Discovery (Croton-on-Hudson) offers quality summer camp for the communities of Northern Westchester. Summers were made for fun and adventure. Your children's creativity will flow through crafts. They'll enjoy sports on the fields. They will take an adventure by boat. Or they'll develop their inner actor. Camp Discovery offers something that every child will love. 4 years to 9th grade

Camp Bear Ridge (Pleasantville) provides outdoor activities and explorations that are the hallmark of summer, yet with air-conditioned classrooms, gym and dance studio for inclement weather and indoor activities. Each day we offer a variety of fun activities, such as nature, dance, sports and arts and crafts, plus time running through our sprinklers - and for children who are potty trained, our water slides. Each week features a different theme, and the daily activities follow that theme. Jewish customs and traditions are woven throughout the program. Field-trip adventures spice up camping for the four- and five-year old groups. 2 to 5 years 

Camp Katan (Yorktown) creates magical and unforgettable experiences for campers ages 2 through 5. Our small groups and highly trained early childhood staff make this camp unique. Each week, campers participate in arts and crafts, music, movement, creative play and Shabbat, all centered around changing weekly themes. Plus, we welcome special guests, who bring added fun and excitement. Guests may include a magician, animal guests, a police officer and more.

The Rosenthal JCC's air-conditioned pre-school classrooms provide a "cool" setting for activities. Our safe, fenced-in playground is equipped with a large shaded sandbox, water tables and sprinklers for daily use.

Field trip adventures spice up camping for our four and five-year-old groups. Our professional staff and counselors are trained to challenge and thrill campers. Come join us - and you'll find out how much fun summer can be!

Sunrise Day Camp at Pearl River - Coming SOON with your help! The Rosenthal JCC of Northern Westchester has partnered with the Barry and Florence Friedberg JCC to launch Sunrise Day Camp at Pearl River as soon as this summer. The new location at Pearl River, NY, will offer children with cancer in Manhattan, the Bronx, Westchester County, Southern Connecticut and Northern New Jersey summers filled with fun, friendships, and activities. The camp will be open on a non-sectarian basis to all children ages 3 1/2 to 16 years who are coping with any type of cancer at any stage, provided their doctors clear them to participate. Siblings are also welcome to attend. In addition to specially trained counselors, specialists, and assistants, the camp will be staffed by on-site pediatric oncology nurses and supported by volunteer pediatric oncology doctors from area hospitals.
