Gym Buddies

Sundays, Nov. 6, Dec. 4, Jan. 8, Feb. 5, Mar. 4 and Apr. 1, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

This is your chance to be a Big Buddy to kids. Be a role model for children in Kindergarten through 4th grades as you engage the children over dinner and fun games.

A Peek Into College

Thursday, Nov. 23, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

What will you NOT hear from the college brochures and college visits? What is college REALLY like? Come hear from former Youth Leadership Council members and JCC Camp Discovery counselors who are now in college for the insider scoop. FREE but RSVP is required.

Global Jewish Connections with Shoham, Israel

Jewish 7th grades – Join us as we partner with your peers from our sister city of Shoham, Israel! Explore your Jewish heritage and identity, learn about Israel, enhance/develop your leadership skills, improve your conversational Hebrew, and so much more.

We will host our Shoham partners for a week in early April and then all participant are encouraged to travel to Israel in late August to stay in the homes of our new Israeli friends.

Space is limited and all applicants must apply and interview. Year-long commitment is required. Multi-year participation is expected.

Program and partial subsidy of airfare (for Israeli component) is made possible by a grant from UJA-Federation of New York, The Rosenthal JCC, and contributions from generous donors.
